Cooperation

EMCA is the GEM regional program for Central Asia. Close co-operations have been established with the other GEM regional programs (in particular with EMME) as well as with the global components, such as  the Earthquake Historical Catalog (hazard component) and the Inventory Data Capture Tools (risk component). The activities of EMCA are carried out within the famework of the Global Change Observatory (GCO) Central Asia, an initiative of GFZ. Synergies with other projects administrated by GFZ in Central Asia, such as MIIC and PROGRESS, have been established.
