Meeting in Kasachstan November 2012

The Head of the Early Warning Center of GFZ and coordinator of the EMCA project Dr. Stefano Parolai and the Co-Director of CAIAG Dr. Bolot Moldobekov met in Astana the Minister of Emergency of KazakhstanMr Bojko Vladimir Karpovich.
During the meeting a strengthening of the cooperation between the MES and GFZ and CAIAG have been discussed and agreed especially in the framework of the EMCA project (focusing on seismic risk in Central asia) and on the development and installation of an early warning/rapid response system for Bishkek and Almaty.
