The Kyrgyz guest scientist Arstanbek Duisheev is from the IntUIT (International University of Innovation Technologies) in Bishkek. He worked from 16.5.2011 to 17.7.2011 at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences, on classifying building vulnerability. He was paid by a DAAD-scholarship.

Details of his work were: 

• Harmonization of building inventory and vulnerability datasets for Bishkek.
• Georeferencing of the building inventory and vulnerability datasets and transfer to GIS compatible format.
• Revision and update of existing building taxonomy for Kyrgyzstan.
